Biography
Born in Munich. Studies of philosophy, LMU Munich. Studies of architecture, TU Berlin. Student assistant at the Institute for Architectural History, Prof.Dr. Jan Pieper (Diploma 1993). 1994-2011 Collaboration as planning architect with Prof.Axel Oestreich, Anderhalten Architekten, Chipperfield Architects, Staab Architekten. 1999-2006 Self-employed architect. Postgraduate studies in Light and Lighting, The Bartlett, UCL London (degree M.Sc. 2005). Since 2017 lecturer on light in architecture: Biberach University of Applied Sciences. Since 2019 training courses on visual comfort at the Federal Office for Building and Regional Planning, BBSR. 2019-2021 Research on daylight availability in office buildings as part of the project "Zukunft Bau". Since 2011 self-employed lighting designer for architecture and art in buildings.
